The Papua New Guinea Institute of Directors (PNGID) honoured outstanding leaders in governance at its 13th Annual Awards Night held at the Hilton Hotel, Port Moresby. The event, held under the theme “Celebrating Excellence in Directorship and Leadership,” recognized individuals and organisations for their integrity, accountability, and innovation.
Vice President Mr. Stan Joyce delivered the keynote remarks on behalf of PNGID President Mr. Clarence M. Hoot. Mr. Joyce commended all nominees in the five categories for their leadership and role in promoting good governance, expressing that while all were winners, only one could be selected for each award.
PNGID also extends its sincere gratitude to the panel of judges: Dame Meg Taylor, Lady Aivu Tauvasa, and Mr. Robert Nilkare. Each a respected leader in their own right, who gave their time to review the nominations.
